PolyLite™ PC 1KG 3D Printer Filament

PolyLite™ PC is made from a polycarbonate resin formulated for 3D printing. It offers good stiffness and heat resistance for demanding functional parts, and its translucent finish lets light pass through for diffusion and illuminated effects.

Key Features

  • Polycarbonate formulated for 3D printing
  • Good stiffness and heat resistance for functional parts
  • Translucent, suited to light diffusion and illuminated aesthetics

Printing Tips

  • Best printed in an enclosure that traps ambient air, which keeps temperatures stable and reduces warping

Ideal Applications

  • Functional components
  • Light diffusers and illuminated parts
  • Visually striking models

Product Specifications

  • Material: PolyLite™ PC (polycarbonate)
  • Net Weight: 1KG
  • Filament Diameter: 1.75mm
  • Color: Transparent

What is Jam-Free™ Technology?

Polymaker Jam-Free™ Technology increases the heat resistance of the filament itself (not the printed part) to 140˚C.
This prevent any jamming issue due to the hot end heat creep issue.
Heat creep is the process of heat spreading irregularly throughout your hot end, softening the filament before entering the melting chamber and jamming the filament by making it expand in the cold end..
The increase of the filament heat resistance from 60˚C to 140˚C ensures a Jam-Free experience.
(Note the printed part will have the same heat resistance as regular PLA: ~60˚C)

How strong is PETG

PolyLite™ PETGis based on a high molecular weight PETG from Natureworks, which makes it one of the most rigid PETG material on the market.
You can check the Young's modulus and bending strength data of PolyLite™ PETG in its TDS, which represent its rigidity, and compare it with other materials of our portfolio.
